Volunteer Stewards

Many stewards at Upton will tell you that it is the best way to enjoy the festival. The opportunity to be involved with the organisation, meet other stewards and festival goers and enjoy the benefits of a free ticket to the festival means that stewards very often come back and help year after year.

Without volunteers the festival simply couldn't happen.

I do hope therefore that you will fill in the attached form and join in.

For your guidance will you please note the following:

1. Stewards will be given a free ticket for the festival and free camping in exchange for being available to help for up to 12 hours spread over the festival.
2. Every effort will be made to match stewards individual duties with their preferences but obviously this is not always possible.
3. Stewards need to be 18 yrs or older.
4. Where shift hand-overs occur please be flexible.
5. If you have a problem or things are not going as you had hoped please tell us.
6. The stewards control will be based in the town at a venue which will be notified to you nearer the event.
